Welcome in our lovely holiday home Bonmarie

Welcome in our lovely holiday home Bonmarie
Our beautiful holiday home Bonmarie has the style of the typical German half-timbered house. The house lies in the holiday village Frankenau near Winterberg, on the border of Sauerland and Hessen, in the National Trust Kellerwald-Edersee. The Kellerwald has been included on the World Heritage List as it is the largest deciduous forest in Europe, and the Edersee is an enormous artificial lake used to produce electricity.

The cosy home has a balcony with a fantastic view on the valley. From the house it takes only minutes to reach the forest Kellerwald, with its endless signposted walks, to the Quernst Chapel for example, of the circular “Drei Herren Stein Route”. The area is hilly and soft, with a different view round every corner, fantastic for touring by bike or car.

From Utrecht it takes about 375 km, 235 miles, or 4 hours drive to get there, ideal for a long weekend, a midweek, or a longer stay of one or two weeks. Perfect for a midseason break!

The holiday home Bonmarie consists of two apartments. The top floor apartment no 136 is available to rent, suitable for 4 persons. It has a wood stove for the chilly summer evenings, and electric heaters to keep warm in winter.

The apartment costs €50,= per night plus €50,= for the end cleaning. Bed linen is available, please bring your own bath and kitchen towels.
